KSD Teacher Bio
Katrina Clark has owed her studio for
20 yrs. & has been
teaching dance for over 30 years in California, Nevada & the Tampa area.
A Member of DMA
(Dance Masters of America) for over 20 years. Katrina danced
professionally for over 15 yrs., doing Television, music video's, commercials,
stand up comedy & live stage productions. Katrina has also done
modeling & costume design for shows in Las Vegas, Valley Forge & Acapulco. She worked at
Busch
Gardens (Tampa) as a dancer & a magicians assistant in "The Mark Wilson
Show'. Also a dancer at WDW (Orlando) & was a Swashbuckler for the
Tampa Bay Bucs. She has performed professionally w/stars such
as: Debbie Reynolds, Bill Cosby, Billy Crystal, David Copperfield,
Suzanne Somers along w/ many others. Katrina has studied, assisted & danced for
& with many
prestigious choreographers: Michael Darrin (Choreographer for: Paula
Abdul)-Rick Milland (Choreo. for: Peggy Fleming)-Rich Rizzo
(Choreo. for: Ann Margaret, Cher, Tina Turner...also,
choreographer of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas Nv., the Lido de
Paris in Paris, France & in Las Vegas Nv.)-Winston Hemsley (Choreo.
for: Paula Kelly, Ben Vereen, & President Ronald Reagan's Christmas
Special)- Henry LeTang teacher @ 'Steps' dance studio in
N.Y. (Choreographer for: Gregory Hines & the Hit Revue 'The Cotton Club' )- Gary McCavin (Joffrey Ballet) - Lester Jacobsen (original 'Tampa
Ballet')......Miss Katrina's professional background has
given her immense knowledge not only in dance, but in stage production, costuming & choreography!

Lora Pfeiffer, trained & assisted at K.S.D. for 9 years. Moved to N.Y.C. for 4 years, trained & performed with prestigious choreographers in television, movies & live stage productions. She is a certified Pilates instructor, Lora incorporates this into her teaching which allows the student to build a stronger core. Lora has been teaching eight years. We are so fortunate to have her on our teaching staff!
Heather Kominsky, has studied dance in the Brandon Area since childhood. I was lucky enough to have her come to my studio when she was a young teenager & study under me for several yrs.....Heather has always shown a tremendous love & dedication to dance. After studying Modern in college, Heather moved back to the Brandon area & returned to KSD's. She has since become one of our teachers!
Lora & Heather bring SO MUCH to our studio w/their knowledge of dance & their vast performing & training experience!
